Culvert Repair

Culvert has been repaired by contributions from cottage owners and downstream property owners.

Signs

There will be effort made to post signs to show where private land is, and indicate where trails/roads are not maintained and may be hazardous to those that trespass on private property.

Private Property

Just as one would not want others to come onto their property. We ask that personal possessions not be placed on private land. Road maintenance equipment is given permission to be parked on shoulder.

Galer Lake

Effort will be made to open up a road from the gravel pit to shoreline.

Entrance from 66

Significant erosion has taken place near entrance off 66. Contribution has been made to fill in the holes and pools of water.

About Us

L J Cunningham spent most of his later years acquiring parcels of property around Holmes Lake. Mr. Cunningham was a avid mining specialist that worked throughout the world and settled in the Kirkland Lake area. The parcels total 1225 acres with another 1088 acres of unpatented mining claims. Mukkamala Family acquired the total acreage of patented and unpatented acreage upon Mr. Cunningham's passing. We seek to preserve its beauty. West Kirkland Lakes Club was formed to help create a central forum where vested interests come to view the progress towards this goal.
